Small (7-10cm body plus 7-10cm tail) grey-brown rodent with large ears and small eyes. Exceptional climbers and jumpers — can scale vertical brick walls and jump 30cm from a standstill. Needs only a 6mm gap to enter a building (the width of a pencil). A single female produces 8 litters of 6 pups per year — populations explode fast. Major pest in apartment kitchens, false ceilings, and storage rooms.
